State College Assembly supports missionaries and missions agencies both at home and around the world. Sharing the gospel, the message of Christ’s redemption, is one of the core foundations of SCA.

The Great Commission, which Jesus so clearly commanded in Mark 16:15 when He said, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation,” is at the heart of SCA’s passionate commitment to missions. The newsletters and stories from missionaries supported by SCA give a sense of the adventure they encounter as they share the love of Christ and meet scores of needs here in the U.S. and around the world.

SCA supports local ministries - including the Pregnancy Resource Clinic and Chi Alpha - as well as missionaries and missions agencies worldwide.

Missions trips are also a great way to get involved in missions. Each year, several from our SCA family go on short-term missions trips. In recent years, individuals or groups have gone to Mexico, Central America, South America, Jamaica, Africa, New York City, Louisiana, and other places for construction, teaching, disaster response, medical, and outreach.
