SCA Kids provides a fun and safe, age-appropriate environment for children ages birth through 5th grade. Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights feature a fully staffed nursery, preschool classes, and school age classes. Nursery and child care may be provided for other events; see specific event announcements for details. Our goal is to partner with parents to help their children encounter Jesus and grow in a great, life-long relationship with Him!
Here at SCA, we know that safety and security are very important to every parent. All of our staff and volunteers must have an initial and subsequent periodic background checks that fulfill Pennsylvania state requirements and are trained according to SCA’s policies and procedures for working with minors. In addition, the doors to our children’s wing are locked during the service. Parents and others authorized can enter the wing by pressing the button at the door to summon an usher.

SCA Kids nursery provides a safe and nurturing environment where babies are loved and cared for by a dedicated staff of volunteers. Classrooms are specially equipped and staffed to meet the needs of infants, crawlers, and walkers. The nursery is available Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights and for special services and events as announced.
First-time Visitors: When a child comes to SCA Kids nursery for the first time, a staff member will take the child’s basic information and any special instructions that will help in caring for the child. The parent and child will each receive a security card with a matching 3-digit code. After dropping off a child, parents can relax and enjoy the service, knowing that their little one is well cared for. If a parent is needed, the 3-digit number on the security card will be displayed on the monitors on either side of the platform. The security card is used to pick up a child at the end of the service. Note that children will not be released to family members under the age of 18.
Sundays: ages 2 through pre-K
Wednesday nights: ages 3 through pre-K

On Sunday mornings, SCA Kids enjoy a unique experience all their own! The service is exciting and interactive, featuring worship led by a kids worship team, creative object lessons, multimedia, games, video, and prayer time to help them connect with God, with their leaders, and with each other. Wednesday night classes are feature age-tiered boys and girls programs which promote small group settings where kids can develop close relationships while they learn practical life lessons from God’s Word. Our trained staff of volunteers ensures that your kids have fun and feel loved as they build an awesome relationship with Jesus.
Volunteers make up a huge part of our SCA Kids ministry team. SCA Kids could not function without the many volunteers on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. Adult leaders and helpers serve in the nursery, preschool classes, and K-5th grade classes. We do our utmost to provide a safe and secure environment for our children to learn about Jesus through a great team of volunteers!
